We are so happy to let you know that the Chicago Elevator Association (CEA) held their annual golf outing at the Klein-Creek Golf Club to benefit the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF). The outing had a great day for the golfers. All of the attendees were definitely winners at this year’s charity event. A delicious dinner was provided to the attendees following the outing, and the prizes kept them all in smiles.

The event had a 50/50 drawing for the EESF. The CEA would like to Thank Brad Hunt of the Peelle Company, for helping with the collection for the drawing. This years EESF charity event was a huge success raising $1500 dollars to help further their mission .

The CEA would also like to thank our golf outing Committee. Glenn Duncan and Tom Przybyla, from Parts Specialists, Inc., Joe Bolton from Lakeland Larsen Elevator, and Alex Macias from Colley Elevator.

The golf outing was only successful due to the support of our sponsors.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the meeting at Ki’s in Glendale Heights on June 1st. Attendance was a packed house for this event, which made it a very enjoyable evening for all the members.

There was a presentation given by Tim Toan and Kevin Cunningham of HydraSafe Brake. Tim and Kevin local Chicago boys wanted to introduce their new product in their Home town of Chicago. Both of them gave us all a great presentation on what is happening with the all new HydraSafe Brake. They went over the recent changes made to the product for Traction and Hydraulic Elevators. The improvements were designed to make the product more reliable and much easer to install.
