Thanks to everyone who came out to the October 2nd meeting! It was a general business meeting that included the following.

We appreciate the presentation by Bucher Hydraulics. They presented on a new product they offer which is a VVVF controlled Hydraulic valve. It was pretty interesting. For more information click on this link.

The CEA Holiday Party is going to be held on December 3rd at the Maggianos in Oakbrook as it was last year and we will have more information about it a next months meeting.

We welcome Innovation Industries as the newest member of the CEA as they were voted in last night.

The slate for the 2008-2009 officers was presented and approved, Craig Zomchek – President, Tom Sybert – Vice President, Tom Przybyla, Secretary Treasurer. Elections are next month so make sure you attend. Nominations can be presented from the floor if you are interested in running for any position.

In addition to elections next month this will be our fiscal year end meeting. Again, thanks to everyone who attended. It was nice to see everyone last night.  See you next month, November 6th.

Come on out to Marcello’s on Thursday October 2nd for drinks, camaraderie and a really good Italian Dinner! Heinz Strickler will be presenting from Bucher Hydraulics and we will be taking nominations from the floor for officers.  The slate will be posted after the meeting for everyone to review. November is elections so please make sure you attend to vote.

Thanks for everyone who came out for the April CEA Meeting! There was a great turn out for Minnesota Elevator’s CET  Presentation on Roped Hydraulic Elevator Systems. A special thanks to Pat Tobin and Tom Hausenbauer for providing a very informative and technical presentation!  Remember those of you who attended and signed the CET roster will receive a certificate of training for .75 CET Hours.

Don’t miss next months meeting when we will have a representative from OSHA Present on some very important topics that should make us all safer in the work place.

Also discussed during this meeting was the upcoming EESF Cruise that will be held on June 25^th, 2008. Last years event raised $11,000 for the EESF and we’re shooting to help the EESF Raise even more. If you are a supplier please consider sponsoring the event and make sure you get your registration forms in early. Space is limited so make sure you put this on your to do list today.
