Thanks to everyone who came out for the meeting at The Clubhouse in Oakbrook on April 5th. Attendance was a packed house for this event, which made it a very enjoyable evening for all the members.

There was a presentation given by Mark Wilson of GAL. Mark gave us an update on all the acquisitions that GAL has made this past year. The company is on an aggressive growth expansion. He discussed the company’s plans to open an office in Elk Grove Village, Illinois to strengthen their Midwest sales.

The month of May brings our Scholarship Fundraiser at the Hawthorne Race Course. Mark your calendars for May 17 for this event. We look forward to seeing you at the Track!

Come out and join us for a Night at the Races! Our goal is to offer this Scholarship to any member of the CEA in good standing with any High School seniors about to embark on the next level of education. All proceeds from this night will go to the CEA Scholarship Fund. This is our opportunity to give back to the industry that has given so much to us.

Ticket Cost is $65 per person

December 6th, 2017 Christmas Party Recap

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Christmas party at the Harry Caray’s in Lombard Illinois on December 6th. Attendance was a packed house for this event, which made it a very enjoyable evening for all the members.

This year’s door prizes were a Whiskey basket, Rum basket, and Vodka basket. Some very nice extras were included in each basket making it a very nice gift. The winners were selected by random from the attendance sign in sheet.

We donated a ECHO Show for this years Christmas raffle to benefit the Elevator and Escalator Safety Foundation. The foundation will receive $685.00 dollars from the raffle, and that will educate over 2,000 children on the safe and proper way to ride elevators and escalators. We also wish to thank all of those who participated in the raffle; your support made this event a success.

January’s meeting Magnetek will be presenting on their elevator equipment. Mark your calendars for the next meeting on January 4th 2018.
