The Chicago Elevator Association (CEA) held their annual golf outing at the
Gleneagles Country Club to benefit the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation
(EESF). The event had a great day for the outing with plenty of sunshine for
the golfers. All of the attendees were winners at this year’s charity event. A
delicious dinner was provided to the attendees following the outing. The world
class raffle with the industries finest prizes kept all the attendees in smiles.
The members of the CEA wanted to thank Elevator World for the special
section in their August issue on the association. We all gather outside for a
special group picture to mark the 105 years we have been in existence.
The CEA was Established in 1911.

The event had a 50/50 drawing for the EESF. The CEA would like to Thank
Brad Hunt of the Peelle Company, Tim Kelley of Tri-Tronics, Ken Grohowski
of CE Electronics, and Mike Jennings of Virginia Controls for helping with the
collection of $1170.00 dollars for the drawing. Half went to the winner and the
other half to the EESF. We also raffled off a Chicago Blackhawks sweater,
which is the original version of defenseman Duncan Keith #2. We collected
$465.00 dollars for the raffle of the sweater.

This years EESF charity event was a huge success. The CEA Annual Golf
Outing helped the EESF by raising $2000.00 dollars to further their mission.
The CEA would also like to thank our golf outing Committee. Glenn Duncan,
Tom Przybyla, and Molly Cruz, from Parts Specialists, Inc., and Matt Dennett
from RBN & Associates.

The golf outing was only successful due to the support of the sponsors.
We wish to say Thank You.

We hope everyone as been enjoying the summer so far. Tomorrow is the CEA Golf Outing which will be a blast. Thanks to our sponsors, the participants and the Golf Committee for making this one of the coolest events in the industry.
