Thanks to everyone who attended the CEA meeting on Thursday at Marcello’s. There was some great input and participation from Anderson Elevator, Elite Elevator, Everest Elevator as well as from Formula Systems, Parts Specialists, C.J. Anderson and Adams Elevator. We also had a visitor who attended from Formula Systems who was in attendance all the way from the UK.

We received updates on the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois and also received a financial update on the 2012 Golf Outing. Some of the truly excellent discussion happened towards the end of the meeting where some exciting ideas were mentioned about growing the association. Some of the topics included a 2013 QEI Code Update Seminar as we’ve done in the past, a 2014 Consultants/Architects Chicago Forum and one that truly would show the true giving side of the CEA and its members a Toy Drive.  If you’ve got an idea of how the CEA can help you, let us know.

The idea of hosting the meetings at other locations was also brought up and if anyone knows of a good restaurant/meeting location you’d like to recommend please let us know. As many of us make the trip to Atlantic City this week, know that the CEA and the Chicago Elevator market are well represented.

Again, thank you to those who attended last weeks meeting. Great to see you all, looking forward to seeing you at October’s meeting which will be held at Angelo’s in Elmhurst.
