sphotoThe February CEA Meeting will be held on Thursday February 7th at the Goose Island Brewery. We will have a buffet dinner and a presenter.  Joe Donnelly will be discussing the latest mandates, code changes, AIC changes as well as fire service interpretations for both the State and City. Joe will be encouraging feed back on the enforcement and inspector interpretations of these items.

November 2012 – Meeting Recap

Thanks to everyone who came out to last night’s meeting. As this was a business meeting it was great to see so many past presidents in the room.  In addition some enjoyable conversations and food, Ed took the floor to ask about the 2013 Chicago Cruise, which benefits the EESF. It was nice to hear back from many of you who shared your ideas on how to make it even more successful. That kind of feedback is important.

I am pleased to announce that your newly elected board for the 2011-2012 year is: Kevin Ryan – President, Cornelius Walls -Vice President and Tom Przybyla – Secretary Treasurer. I’m excited to help and see the direction that our new officers take the CEA.

My personal thanks for allowing me to serve as VP for two years and then President for another two.  One of my objectives was to help CEA members gain educational credits by attending presentations at each meeting as well as coordinating the yearly QEI/CEU educational program that was very successful.  I hope that I was able to make a difference in making the CEA a valuable asset to you and look forward to continuing this support. The association is in good hands and also great financial shape thanks to the hard work of Tom Przybyla.
